The Osaka Modern Transportation Museum had railway and other exhibits.
The Osaka Modern Transportation Museum was at Bentencho station on Osaka loop line (JR).
The following locomotives were on display:
1801 (40), 233, 7105 "Yoshitsune", C62-26, D51-2, EF52-1, DD13-638, DF50-18, DD54-33, units and shinkansen cars.
In addition there were exhibits, simulators, model railway, maglev, a shop and restaurant.
Outside exhibits, pictured, were later covered over.
Also history of planes, ships and cars.
Since closure on on 6th April 2014, railway exhibits moved to the Kyoto Railway Museum - loco 7105 was the first to move to what was then Umekoji in 2014.
York's National Railway Museum is a sister museum and now contains an original series Shinkansen driving coach.
